A little about My Prophetic Paintings
Several years ago, I decided to do a Spiritual fast with the color black in my paintings. I had never really tried this as most painting requires the use of black for shadowing, but as I started painting, I kept getting ideas and pictures to paint. Not only that but I experienced my own style. Many times I would look at Monet or Van Gogh and see their great works with there signature on their style. I felt like I had never found that. I often can reduplicate and re-create pictures I see, but never felt like I had a handle on my own paintings. So as I began my journey in fasting the color black, I experience a flow in my paintings. Many of my prophetic paintings I paint or do in church that are inspired by the Holy Spirit, often do not have the color black in them. With that said, my use of color in my paintings is often deeper than people realize.
John Paul Jackson who is an amazing man of God who specializes in Dream Interpretation has helped thousands people find the meaning of their dreams through the insight God has given him. He has people understand the deeper meaning through understanding colors and imagery in their dreams. The following is meanings that he associates with color. When I paint I often use certain colors to communicate the the fullness of what God has shared with me about my painting. The list below has meanings of colors used in a positive or negative way depending on the dream. Most of my paintings I use the colors in the positive way, but there are a few where the colors are to mean the negative. Hope this helps in seeing the deeper side of my paintings.

Angel of Revelation![]() Revelation 10:1-7
The Mighty Angel with the Little Book 1 I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire. 2 He had a little book open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, 3 and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices. 4 Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices,a]'>[a] I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me,b]'>[b] “Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them.” 5 The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his handc]'>[c] to heaven 6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer, 7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets. |

Waiting on the Lord

This morning in church the Lord gave me this picture. I saw a person waiting on the Lord, and as they waited upon Him, they began to grow wings, and be strengthen by the Lord. As they received His strength, they were able to cross the River Jordan and take hold of the Promised Land. I pray that as you wait on the Lord, that you would be able to have wings like that of an eagle and that you would be strengthen to receive and take every promise that He has instore for you.

Unforgiveness

Recently, in my walk with the Lord, I have gone through a deep cleansing journey of walking out forgiveness. And in this process the Lord began showing me several things. Forgiving is never easy, but it is a necessary key to walking in the fullness of all God has for us. It is a choice needing to be made by each of us. Forgiving is not an option that God gives; it is a command. Christ came and died for us forgiving us, of our sins, things He knew what we would do before we even knew that we would do them.
Christ's whole purpose in dying for us, was to bridge the gap, through the forgiveness He gives to each of us. He calls each of us to forgive one another just as He forgives us. In fact, He tells us unless we forgive one another, He can not forgive us. This is why it is so important to not allow unforgivness into our hearts because it can cause us to be distant with the Lord
I have been challenged recently to forgive and keep forgiving, no matter how long it takes, just by saying those words, we break a covenant with the enemy to come in and torment us. Even if our heart is not there yet, something happens when we choose to say it outloud. There is power in the words we speak, though our hearts may feel differently, something happens in the spiritual realms when we actively participate in forgiving one another.
Forgiving is a powerful thing, and I think often we forget to forgive. Things happen to cause hurt, and we get angry, and want to have something to hold onto for the injustices which have happened to us. We think it is Our Right to withhold unforgiveness against someone, but what we don't realize is once we do this, God can not bless us as He desires to. He is the wise Judge, whom we can trust, by not forgiving, we make ourselves out to be the judge and the Bible says, only God is able to judge the hearts of man.
I have often gone through things only to have the Lord help me in showing me things I was not aware of. Things which cause people to hurt one another; such as past situations; causing a person's response to be jaded. When we forgive one another we bring God's Kingdom here on earth to a world filled with hurt and pain. We the church are filled with unforgiveness, and most often times we don't even know it lies in our hearts. We say we love one another, but our actions speak differently. If we truly have forgiven those whom have hurt us, we would be able to bless the person in words and actions toward them.
What does is mean to forgive? Webster's dictionary defines to forgive as: to give up resentment of or claim to requital for <forgive an insult>; to grant relief from payment of <forgive a debt>; to cease to feel resentment against (an offender); to grant pardon.
Matthew 6:14-15 says, "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."
I didn't say it, Jesus did. Maybe if we truly examine our hearts about the areas where we still have unforgiveness the church may look different. I'm not excluded from this challenge, but determined to be different and allow my heart to experience the fullness of all God designed forgiveness to be. Forgiveness is a wonderful freeing thing. It's amazing how good it feels to allow God to be God over all the situations which have caused us pain.
I have had my share of pains in this life, and will continue to have things in the future will happen and cause hurt, this is certain, but in order for me to show Christ's love, I have to be willing to lay down my right. I am not perfect and will also make mistakes. I would want those I have hurt to forgive me when I ask and to also forget the offense. I'm sure they to would want the from me. The definition of unforgiveness: means we make no allowance for error or weakness, and that is just unrealistic since we are all human and all fall short of the glory of God.
Unforgiveness is like cancer, it spreads. It spreads not only to areas in our lives but to those around us. Unforgiveness leads to bitterness and a bitter root can defile many (Hebrews 12:15). We as humans often will also take on the offenses of others, and in doing so; we bring accusations and word curses on those whom we may not even know. But it first started with an unforgiving heart; unwilling let go of the offense in the first place.
God, just the other day gave me this picture to paint about Unforgiveness. The flower in the painting represents me, or you or the church. In the painting the Flower is closed and not blooming. In its roots is unforgiveness; unforgiveness against others whom have caused hurt. Because of unforgiveness, thorny vines were allowed to come in and make their home around the flower. Out of unforgiveness, the Flower tries to protect herself, but in reality, hinders her own growth and isolates herself. She can not bloom or grow. And all because, unforgiveness was in her roots. She now is trapped and surrounded by thorns which can hurt her. These thorns grow and grow choking the life out of her and growing outward hurting those around her. She is surrounded by anger, stubbornness, unwillingness to forgive, depression, and pride.
My challenge to you, to the church and to me, is let us examine our hearts. Let us pray and ask the Lord to show us where there has been unforgiveness in our hearts. Walking in forgiveness for many will be the hardest thing you will ever do, but know the fruit which comes out of forgiving is great and will last. Know you are not alone in this journey. Know there is wonderful array of blessings in store for you from your Heavenly Father, if you would but just forgive.
The Pearl of Great Price

I was spending time with the Lord, and he began to show me a picture. The picture was of a clam and within the clam was a pearl. A beautiful pearl. As I was thinking about this picture, I thought of the scripture in Matthew 13 where there is the parable talking about the the Pearl of Great Price. It says the following," 45"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. 46When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it." I know this scripture has a lot of meaning. Jesus is like the pearl of great price. We who know who Jesus is know nothing can compare to Him, nothing in this life is as valuable as Him. Who of us knowing this would not give up everything to possess this pearl of great price? There is nothing as beautiful as Him. As I was thinking about this God in some way gave me more understanding almost flipping this picture I had. He showed me I was a pearl. A pearl of great price, in which He freely gave all He had to purchase me. It was His blood that purchased me. His life he so willingly gave.
Some time ago, I learned the town I grew up in had a special meaning. The town was after an Indian name and the meaning of the name was little pearl. All these years, I grew up never knowing my town had this special meaning. Reflecting on this made it even more clear to me; I am truly very special, just as God has made each one of us special. We have all been bought with a price, the blood of Jesus Christ.
